ARTICLE I                 NAME
Section 1.                  The name of this organization shall be the "CHILI SOCCER ASSOCIATION, INC.".
Section 2.                  This organization may also use other names for its constituent parts, such as but not restricted to, Chili Youth Soccer, Chili Junior Soccer, Chili Amateur Soccer, Chili Little Guy Soccer and Chili Little Gal Soccer.
Section 3.                  The name Chili Little Guy Soccer, under which this organization was originally founded in 1970, shall remain the sole property of this association as long as it continues to exist.
ARTICLE II                PURPOSE
Section 1.                  The purpose of this organization shall be to promote the game of soccer (International Football) in the town of Chili by providing programs in which its citizens, especially its youth may participate.
Section 1.                  This organization may, by vote of its members, according to its By-Laws, affiliate with any organization on a county, state, national or international level that will help it fulfill its purpose.
Section 2.                  This organization is not directly affiliated with, but may work in conjunction with the Town of Chili.
Section 1.                   Membership in this organization is open to all persons who meet the requirements as set forth in the By-Laws,  which in no way maybe amended so as to be discriminatory by reason of race, sex, religion or national origin.
Section 1.                   The government of this organization shall be vested in the officers and directors as specified in the By-Laws.
Section 2.                   The officers and directors of this organization shall be elected in the manner prescribed by the By-Laws and  the officers shall hold office for a period of one year or until their successors are duly elected.
Section 3.                   No elected officer or director of this organization maybe paid for his efforts on behalf of the Chili Soccer  Association, which is a non-profit community organization.
Section 1.                   A complete set of financial records will be kept by the Treasurer.
Section 2.                   If this organization should disband, its assets, after all outstanding debts are paid, shall go to the Town of Chili  for recreation use.
Section 1.                  This organization shall maintain all records, except financial records, for two consecutive years, purging the first year at the end of the third year, etc.
Section 2.                  The financial records shall be maintained for at least seven (7) years.
Section 1.                  This constitution may be amended by a two thirds (2/3) vote of the Board of Directors providing that a written notice of the proposed amendment has been mailed (postmarked) to the last known address of each member at least ten (10) days prior to the date of the meeting at which such amendment will be introduced.
